Blake Newborn Photos - Lynchburg, Va.

It was such a pleasure to photograph this new little addition to the Blake family just a few weeks after photographing the couple before their daughter made her arrival. This was my first time photographing a newborn, and while it presented it's own unique set of challenges, the experience was well worth it. Once again, I wanted to photograph the family in their home and use natural lighting to achieve the best photo possible. I love these photos of this precious little girl and hope you love them as well.

Blake Maternity Photo Shoot - Lynchburg, Va

I had the pleasure to photograph a wonderful couple as they expected the arrival of their first child. This photo shoot was held at the couple's Lynchburg home just a couple of weeks before the arrival of their precious daughter. I loved incorporating the couple's new home into the photo shoot. They are celebrating many firsts together - a new home, a new baby, and expanding their family from just the two of them living in an apartment to beginning a family in their first home together. Montalvo Wedding - Newport News, Va.

I recently had the pleasure and the honor of photographing a dear friend's wedding. Kim and I were roommates in college and sorority sisters. We were inseparable in college, and even though life has taken us in different paths, living in different cities, when the two of us get back together for visits we don't miss a beat. It's like we're back in school again, close as ever.

So when Kim asked me to photograph her wedding, I jumped at the chance. The day of the wedding I tagged along to the hair salon as the bridal party was made beautiful, was by the bride's side as she put on her wedding dress, and  watched as her bridesmaids and mother put the final touches on her. And of course, I was clicking away with my camera the whole time, catching every moment of the special day. Below are some photos from Kim and Josh Montalvo's wedding day. Professional Headshots - Lynchburg, Va.

I recently had the privilege of taking professional headshots for some local Realtors with Keller Williams in Lynchburg, Va. 2011 First Snow Forest, Va.

Well it's Jan. 8th and we've had our first snow of 2010 in the Lynchburg, Va. area. This snow was so fluffy and beautiful. The dusting on the tree limbs and along the road made my neighborhood look like a winter wonderland. While I prefer to see snow from inside my warm house, I trekked out into my backyard for a little while this morning to snap some photos. Hope you enjoy!

Christmas 2010 Portraits - Lynchburg, Va.

This past Christmas season I had the pleasure of taking the photos for a few clients' Christmas cards. One photo shoot was completed at the client's home and was such fun to do. The boys dressed in their PJ's and sat by the Christmas tree. I was able to get lots of shots of them with their presents, reading to one another, and of the entire family by the fire place. Another Christmas photo shoot was held at the Snowflex Ski Lodge on Candlers Mountain in Lynchburg. The ski lodge was a dream to shoot in and was already decorated with trees, stockings, and Christmas decor. Here are some of my favorite photos from each of these different photo shoots. Enjoy!
